【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesauniformprocedureforfabricatingglassfiber/thermosetresinringsamplesforuseastestspecimens.SpecimenssopreparedcanbeusedinTestMethodsD2290andD2344/D2344M.1.1Thispracticeisintendedforuseinthefabricationofring-typetestspecimenstobeusedintheevaluationofthemechanicalpropertiesofreinforcementandresinsinacompositestructure.Thepracticeoutlinesthestepsinthepreparationofthetestspecimens,includingthefinalspecimenmachiningwhereapplicable.Fourfinalringconfigurationsareincluded.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsofinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothispractice.
