【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesaprocedureforthecalculationofthecetaneindexofmiddle-distillatefuelsfrompetroleum-derivedsources.Thecalculatedvalueistermedthe“cetaneindexbyfour-variableequation”.ThroughouttheremainingtextofthisInternationalStandard,theterm“cetaneindex”impliescetaneindexbyfour-variableequation.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletofuelscontainingadditivesforraisingthecetanenumber,nortopurehydrocarbons,nortodistillatefuelsderivedfromcoal.Itisapplicabletofuelscontainingnon-petroleumderivativesfromtarsandandoilshale.NOTE1ThisInternationalStandardwasoriginallydevelopedusingamatrixoffuels,someofwhichcontainnonpetroleumderivatesfromtarsandsandoilshale.Othercetaneindexequationshavesincebeendevelopedwhichcanbemoreapplicabletotarsandsproducts.NOTE2Thecetaneindexisnotanalternativewaytoexpressthecetanenumber;itisasupplementarytool,tobeusedwithdueregardforitslimitations.NOTE3Thecetaneindexisusedtoestimatethecetanenumberofdieselfuelwhenatestengineisnotavailabletodeterminethispropertydirectly,orwheninsufficientsampleisavailableforanenginerating.Incaseswherethecetanenumberofafuelhasbeenpreviouslyestablished,thecetaneindexcanbeusedtoverifythecetanenumberofsubsequentsamplesofthatfuel,providedthefuel'ssourceandmodeofmanufactureremainunchanged.TherecommendedrangeoffuelpropertiesforapplicationofthisInternationalStandardisasfollows:FuelpropertyRecommendedrangeCetanenumber32,5–56,5Densityat15°C,kg/m3805,0–895,010%(V/V)distillationrecoverytemperature,°C171–25950%(V/V)distillationrecoverytemperature,°C212–30890%(V/V)distillationrecoverytemperature,°C251–363Withintherecommendedrangeofcetanenumber(32,5to56,5),theexpectederrorofthepredictionviathecetaneindexequationwillbelessthan±2cetanenumbersfor65%ofthedistillatefuelsexamined.Errorsmaybegreaterforfuelswhosepropertiesfalloutsidetherecommendedrangeofapplication.
