【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoverstheprovisionsforconsistentsafetyconsiderationsinthedesignandconstructionofnewrollerhockeyrinksinordertoreducepotentialsafetyhazards.Itisintendedtostandardizegameconditionsandestablishguidelinesthatwillprovidealevelofconformityforthepurposeofcompetitionandreducepotentialhazardstoplayersandgameofficials.1.2Thisguideshouldbetakenintoconsiderationbyarchitects,designers,engineers,constructioncontractors,andappropriateinspectorswhomaybeinvolvedinthedesignandconstructionofnewrollerhockeyrinks.Thisguideappliestothedevelopmentofnewarenasandtoexistingfacilitiesthatwillberenovated.1.3Thisguidetakesintoconsiderationthatmosticehockeyrinkswithconcretesurfacescanbeacceptableforrollerhockey.However,dasherboardsmustmeetcriteriarespectiveofthespecificactivity.Facilitiesdesignedandconstructedforrollerhockeymaynotbeacceptableforicehockeyuse.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
